World War II Remington 1903 A3 stock with a matching hand guard. The stock has no cracks, no rebuild markings, no repairs, and no rack numbers. A chip of wood is missing next to the front band screw hole. This is not visible with a front band attached. A long scratch on the right side of the butt resembles a crack but it’s just a scratch. A few other nicks and bruises plus a slight sling keeper indentation at the bottom of the firing proof. A particularly sharp firing proof, RA, and FJA inspection marks, the ordinance crossed cannons is very visible. The matching hand guard has been with the stock a long time and has no cracks.
