Newly manufactured in America using traditional American black walnut.A medium brown stain and a light oil finish has been applied to allow the butt stock and both hand guards to match in color. The stock set is fully inletted using robotic CNC machinery to insure an accurate and exacting fit .The profile of the butt stock follows the classic 1939 vintage Springfield M1 stock. This is the classic stock pattern M1 rifles were equipped with before WW2. the rear hand guard retaining clip is installed, no other metal parts are included. Our stock sets are custom-made to our specifications by Boyds Gunstock Industries
